AHH, Sorry, time flies!

Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know that although I haven't posted in a while, that doesn't mean that anything bad is going on. Things have been relatively normal around here. I just got home from chemo . . . also uneventful. There are some chemo "newbies" in the office and one guy was screaming on the phone to a customer service agent while the rest of us were trying to enjoy our benedryl buzzes. As If!

I have one treatment left and then I am off for a whole 4 weeks!!!! Incredible! The only major side effect reeking havoc on my days is acid reflux which is now under control thanks to the little purple pill - Prilosec.

In other news, Barak and I are searching for a second dog to adopt in January. We met a young and spry Coonhound, Ellie Mae, over the weekend. She's a puppy - about 5 months, so she needs a whole lot of attention and guidance. We think she and Cyan would get along just dandy, but we are really looking to save a dog, so we are going to pass on here for the moment and keep our eyes peeled for another. So far, the rescue we are working with has suggested another dog, Gwendolyn. She is about 3 years old, and . . . drumroll please . . . a Cane Corso Mastiff. Yes, it is possible that she will be taller (on her hind legs) and weigh more than me. But we are assured that she is a big teddy bear kind of dog, so we're going to meet her with Cyan and see how it goes.

The house is decked out with Xmas gear . . . lights, wreaths, Santa signage, and other decor. I think I've done all I can since we are leaving for Chico in a week. Wow, time flies when you're having fun.

Here are some pics of the girls.
